Connect your SEO Rocket account to Wix and start publishing AI-generated, SEO-optimized articles to your blog automatically. The Wix integration uses secure OAuth authorization, so setup takes just a few clicks — no API keys or tokens required.

Once connected, SEO Rocket handles everything for you. Titles, content, images, formatting, and SEO data are automatically mapped to the correct fields in your Wix blog. Publish instantly, schedule for later, or turn on autopilot for hands-free content publishing.

Before You Begin

Make sure your Wix site meets the following requirements:

  • Owner or Admin access to the Wix site you want to connect

  • Your Wix site published and live

How to Connect Your Wix Site

  1. In your SEO Rocket dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations.

  2. Click Enable Integration on the Wix card.

  3. You’ll be redirected to Wix.

    • If you’re not logged in, sign in to your Wix account.

    • If you’re already logged in, simply select your website from the list.

  4. Click the blue “Agree & Add” button to accept permissions and finalize the connection.

That’s it — your site is now connected! SEO Rocket can begin publishing optimized blog articles automatically to your Wix blog.

Updating Published Articles

After publishing an article to Wix, you can update it at any time. Simply make your changes in the SEO Rocket editor and click the "Update Article" button. Your changes will be pushed to your live Wix blog automatically without creating a duplicate post.

Troubleshooting

Connection Failed:

  • Verify you have Owner or Admin permissions on your Wix site

  • Make sure the Wix Blog app is installed on your site

  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration

Site Not Appearing in Dropdown:

  • Ensure you granted permissions for the site during the Wix authorization step

  • Check that you're logged into the correct Wix account

  • Try revoking access in Wix and reconnecting

Publishing Fails:

  • Make sure your Wix site is published and live (not in draft mode)

  • Verify the Blog app is properly set up and configured

  • Check that your Wix account permissions haven't changed

Authorization Expired:

  • Wix authorizations can expire if you change your Wix password

  • Simply disconnect and reconnect the integration to re-authorize

  • Your previously published articles will remain on your Wix blog

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will published articles appear on my live site immediately?
A: Yes! Articles published from SEO Rocket appear immediately on your live Wix blog and are visible to visitors.

Q: Can I edit articles after publishing to Wix?
A: Yes! You can edit articles directly in your Wix blog editor, or update them in SEO Rocket and republish to overwrite the Wix version.

Q: Do I need to create API keys or tokens?
A: No! Wix uses OAuth authorization, so you just need to log in and approve the connection. No manual API key creation is required.

Q: What happens if I revoke access in Wix?
A: If you revoke SEO Rocket’s access in your Wix account settings, SEO Rocket will no longer be able to publish articles. Your existing published articles will remain on your blog. Simply reconnect the integration to resume publishing.

A: Yes! Featured images and any images in your article content are automatically uploaded to your Wix Media Manager and embedded in the published article.

Q: Can I customize how articles are formatted in Wix?
