After generating or editing an article, you may want to publish it manually on your CMS. SEO Rocket makes this simple with the Copy Article feature, which lets you export your content in several formats — all in one click.
How to Copy Content
In the top-right corner of the editor, click Copy as and choose your preferred format:
Rich Text: Ideal for visual editors like Webflow, Wix, or Squarespace.
HTML: Best if you want complete formatting control in code-based CMS platforms.
Markdown: Perfect for tools like Ghost, Notion, or any markdown-based platform.
This flexibility ensures your article looks professional, no matter where you’re publishing it.
What Gets Copied
When you use the Copy as function, SEO Rocket includes:
Full article content with structure and formatting
Headings, lists, and links
Embedded images (with alt text preserved)
YouTube embeds, tables, and quotes
Everything is formatted and ready for pasting directly into your CMS.
What Doesn’t Get Copied (Manual Copy Required)
The following SEO metadata is not included when copying article content:
Meta title
Meta description
Slug (URL path)
You can find these details in the editor’s right sidebar. If you’re publishing manually, make sure to copy and paste these into your CMS — they’re essential for proper indexing and SEO visibility.
Tip
After pasting your article into your CMS, take a moment to preview it. Some platforms may slightly adjust formatting, spacing, or link styles. A quick visual check ensures everything looks clean and professional before publishing.
