The Scheduling feature in SEO Rocket gives you full control over when your articles are created, processed, and published. Whether you prefer to plan content weeks in advance or make adjustments as you go, the Calendar makes it easy to organize your publishing workflow visually.
Adding Articles to the Calendar
When a keyword is added to your calendar, SEO Rocket automatically queues it for article generation on the next available date.
Articles appear as cards on the specific days you’ve scheduled them.
If your CMS is connected and set to auto-publish, the article will go live automatically once it’s generated.
If auto-publish is off, the article will remain in Generated status until you publish it manually from the editor.
At the top of the calendar, you’ll see how many queued articles you currently have (for example, “You have 7 Queued Articles”). This helps you keep track of what’s ready to be scheduled.
Drag and Drop Scheduling
You can easily drag and drop articles to rearrange your publishing dates.
Move an article to any future day to reschedule it.
If there’s already an article on that date, SEO Rocket automatically swaps the two.
You can’t place articles on past dates, but you can move them freely across any future day.
This flexible setup makes it simple to adjust your content calendar as your priorities change.
Managing Article Settings
Each “Queued” article card includes a Gear Icon that opens additional settings for that specific article.
From here, you can adjust publishing preferences for that specific article:
Change the content length
Change the article language
Change the tone of voice
Change your image style preference
Add custom article instructions
This allows you to fine-tune individual articles without disrupting your entire schedule.
Deleting Articles
If you need to remove an article from your schedule, click the Trash Icon on its card.
Deleting an article will remove it from your calendar view but not from your overall keyword list, so you can easily reschedule or regenerate it later if needed.
Calendar Navigation
SEO Rocket offers three views to help you plan your content efficiently:
Calendar View: Displays a traditional month grid with arrows to move between months.
Year View: A scrollable 12-month timeline that helps with long-term content planning.
Table View: A simplified list format for users who prefer to manage articles by data rather than visual layout.
You can switch between these views anytime, depending on how you prefer to organize your publishing strategy.
Scheduling Tips
Plan Ahead: Use your queue to fill upcoming days or weeks with new content.
Stay Consistent: Consistent posting helps search engines recognize your site as active and reliable.
Use Swaps Strategically: Move articles between days to test timing or adjust pacing.
Leverage the Gear Icon: Quickly modify an article’s settings without opening the editor.
The Scheduling tools inside SEO Rocket give you the flexibility to plan content your way — structured enough to stay organized, but simple enough to adapt anytime your strategy evolves.
