Once your article is ready โ whether youโve made edits or kept it as generated โ you can publish it manually to any CMS or automatically through your connected integration. This guide explains how publishing works in SEO Rocket.
Important: Scheduling an article in the calendar does not automatically publish it unless you've connected a CMS via the Integrations page. If no integration is set up, you'll still need to copy and publish your article manually until you set it up.
Manual Publishing
You can publish your article to any platform manually in just a few steps:
In the editor, click Copy as in the top-right toolbar.
Choose your preferred format:
Rich Text: For visual CMS editors like Webflow, Wix, or Squarespace.
HTML: For full control in code-based setups.
Markdown: For platforms like Ghost or Notion.
Paste your copied content into your CMS editor.
Manually copy the title, slug, and meta description from the editorโs sidebar โ these are critical for SEO visibility.
Tip: After pasting, preview your post. Some CMS platforms may slightly adjust formatting, spacing, or embed styles, so a quick check ensures everything displays correctly.
Auto-Publishing
If your CMS is connected through Settings โ Integrations, SEO Rocket can publish your article automatically โ no manual copy-pasting required.
Once connected, you can publish articles directly from the editor:
Choose whether to post as a draft or live article.
Add Categories or Tags (optional)
Automatically push SEO metadata (title, description, slug) and CTAs with your post.
With auto-publishing enabled, your article goes live automatically on the scheduled day, and any edits you make later in the editor will sync directly to your website.
